Minnie Adelaide Still, (left) 34, is Eddy’s personal maid, who recently emigrated to the US from Somersetshire, England. I just looked at Shirley Cheechoo’s profile on Native Networks through SI – http://www.nativenetworks.si.edu/eng/rose/cheechoo_s.htm and I think I could see her in another role, when I read that this Minnie Adelaide Still immigrated from London I thought of Keira Knightly, slender and that Eddy appreciated her “pluck” and someone who could play quiet and her down to earth faith. I know Keira Knightly is know for doing more action films but she has a very expressive face. I could see your Shirley Cheechoo playing a more major focal solid role from her bio, pictures, the fact that she likes to create something meaningful to me would seem like she would be better in a role where she is more of a…I don’t know the words right now but I don’t see her for this, I’ll look at the other roles and see what is more here, I know there is a face in my head that she would be good for but I haven’t looked at the cast of people who are in need of a suggestion.

Miss Still was from Somerset, not Somersetshire (which is an archiac name for that county in the West of England). The role doesn’t require a star, but Miss Still should be portrayed with a slight English West Country accent. Young British actor would be ideal.

Georgia Reed would be a great choice. She is an accomplished ballet dancer and actress who was raised in Christian Science and would “get” the nuances needed to bring this role to life. Georgia also would “look” right for the part. She is humility and guts.
